Marcela’s was established in 2000 as a way to share and express the pleasure of tea and the gift of time with family and friends over a cup of tea.

Born in Chile, the culture of my childhood and growing up in the family chocolate shop in Santiago set me on a course for sharing the fine arts of tea and gifts. Over the years, several small rooms of my enchanted cottage turned into a tea house, leading to the expansion of the small cottage and gardens. Remodeled by my wonderful husband Mark, he manicured our cottage to transport our little postage stamp shop in the desert into an oasis where peace and joy surround you over a cup of tea.
